GEJ urges the Senate to confirm the appointment of former governor of Edo State, Professor Osarheimen Osunbor, as Chairman, Nigeria Law Reform Commission (NLRC).
Professor Oserheimen Osunbor, legal practitioner, politician.
He educated at the University of Warwick, England. He was professor of Law at the Lagos State University, LASU; member, Constitution Conference, 1994-1995; elected senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Edo Central Constituency, 1999 and elected governor of Edo State in 2007 before his election was annulled by the Court of Appeal.
He was a first class brain who made distinction in all his academic pursuits. He made a first class in law at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He was the best Masters and Phd student in his classes overseas. He made a first class at the law school. He is decent and cultured.
