| Prince Kelly O. Udebhulu |
The Esan people of Edo State living in the kingdom of Spain, under the
auspices of Esan National Congress Spain Chapter, welcome the gradual infrastructural
development taking place in Nigeria and pleads with the present Government of
Nigeria under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
to continue leading our dear Country Nigeria towards the actualization of the
desired amenities for Nigerians  both
home and abroad.
Esan National Congress  Spain Chapter
under the leadership of Prince Kelly Ogbemudia Udebhulu, a  well-known  Esan son from  Urohi community, applauded the President of
Nigeria for his initiative and decision to give Nigerians the opportunity to
hold the long awaited National Dialogue Conference which is aimed at bringing
peace, unity and progress to the country.
He further pleaded to all Nigerians living at home and abroad to support
the President on this bold initiative.
Prince Kelly Ogbemudia Udebhulu lamented the inability of his people back home
not to have reached a  round table agreement
on the consensus demands and issues to present during the on-coming  National Conference. Not unaware of a decision
reached by Esan professional body in Lagos which shall form part of the
concensus  to be reached generally by all
stake holders. He stressed the need for the leadership of Esan people  both at the Local, State and Federal levels to
arrange a non-partisan conference, void of any political party affiliation or
sentiments in any town in Esan land.
He specifically called on The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Tony Anenih, Chief Francis Inegbeniki, the
Uzoya of Esanland and the Atunranse of Lagos, National Vice-Chairman
South-South of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Tom Ikimi, Former
Governor of Edo State,  professor  Oserheimen Osunbor ,Commissioner, Board of
Nigeria Law Reform Commission and other dignitaries including traditional
rulers in  Esan land to come together and
arrange a conference for all sons and daughters of Esan land at any  city in Esan land.
He further reminded his people to know the important  roles
and positions Esan people have played and occupied in the history of
Nigeria. Ranging from the motion for Nigeria’s independence by Chief Anthony
Enahoro, through the Nigerian second republic en route military sponsored
political parties to the present day political, social, economic and religious
affairs in Nigeria. Prince Udebhulu
stated that they stand out to be the vocal voice where unity is desired not
only in Esan land, but  among the three
major tribes in Nigeria.
Esan people living in the kingdom of Spain pledges their utmost supports to
the successful hosting of the proposed conference for all Esan sons and
daughters in Esan land. And we pray that peace and unity will prevail in Esan
land.
Long live Esan People, long  live Edo
State, long live Nigeria.
