Snails

Oh my memory! It is worth remembering that we once left home late in the night to search for snails in the bush unaware the whereabouts of such snails in that bush, but the spirit of imagination landed us often in a successful location where we found abundant snails but at times, a futile search also.  The snail business was attractive enough that grown up boys in the village joined in the popularly known business for the female,  disguised and returned back very early in the morning as non-participants in the snail business!

The sole habitat of snails is the soil, very often, snails are picked from the trees especially during wet seasons.  You must be smart enough to see the snail with the help of your oil lamb, else, your partner will pick what you sighted that often resulted in misunderstanding (not conflict) because you will still continue the search for snails collectively. What a communal life that is void of disharmony and envy!

What  a wound to remember often sustained in the bush during the hurry search for snails!  Instances abound where sleeping snakes are sighted, a stampede worth remembering. Does the wound or stampede really prevented the search? I see the answer as the reader here does. This snail business serve as complement to rubber business to the young ones mostly because some snails are picked during tapping of rubber trees very early in the money as the conscious spirit arose often that a sale of snails can afford the seller a better meal, clothes and meet the opposite sex desires for clothes, soft drinks and so on. What a social life to remember.

What about the marketing strategies? The zealous waiting for the returns from the sales of snail in the market? Or the mood to invite your colleagues to wake you up the next day for the search for snails in the bush? Haba! you forgot so soon how your friends gathered to go for snail search and you were ignored? Release yourself once again to remember how you used your searched snails played local league loves.
